New Beginning "A Day of Giving" NFP August 9, 2011
New Beginning "A Day of Giving" is catering to the seniors by giving free health fair screenings for the elderly every month to check their health and play a little bingo with prizes give away and free food. They love it and so do my NFP, volunteers, and me. It is such a blessing for them to ask if we are coming back again soon.
The NFP is always making a difference in people's lives who has done so much to make a difference for the younger generation. It is time to give back and they are collecting with much fun.

The last job fair for New Beginning "A Day of Giving" is September 13, 2011, 10AM - 2PM at Casa Central 1335 N. Caifornia Ave.

"A DAY OF GIVING" JOB FAIR TRAINING PROGRAMS ON JULY 26, 2011
This "A Day of Giving" job fair was another success and Ms. Roslynn Riley and helpers because they were well versed and knowledgable in this area.
It was a healthcare fair for people who was interested in becoming a home health aide or a pharmacy technician. These classes are free with job placement assistance. It was a great opportunity for many. It is part of the Jewish Vocational Service.
They will come again on September 13, 2011, with these and other programs at Casa Central 1335 N. California Ave. from 10AM - 2PM. There will be more information forecoming really soon.

"A Day of Giving" in the community
New Beginning "A Day of Giving" NFP first ''Health Fair" will be held July 19, 2011, from 10AM - 2PM at 2045 W. Jackson Blvd in the building called "Van Buren's Apartments."
We are all excited to be able to cater to the elderly to make sure they are in the best condition.
They will have lots of fun like bingo, prizes giveaway, and food eventhough it is a health screening fair.

NEW BEGINNING "A DAY OF GIVING" JOB FAIR ON MAY 14, 2011
Thanks to vendors like Walmart, Walgreens, Home Depot, A Abiding Home Health, U.S. Home Health, Casa Central, Dimensions Home Health, & XYZ Auction Asset, & sponsors like Food 4 Less, Walgreens, Hot Doug, Dollar's Market, San Juan Bakery, Nick's on North, Dunkin's Donuts, & Speedway Gas, etc.
Thanks to volunteers like Ms. Margaret, Lillian, Alisha, Adam, C. J., Denise, Kim, Reggie, Chappel, Annie, Mike, Benard, Thomas, Joshua, & Christine.
Thanks to the applicants who came out for a job, and some of them did receive one. God is good all the time.
There was so much donated food until most of the applicants were able to eat, which is almost unheard of at anytime. I am talking about breakfast and lunch because God is good; He gets the glory.
Stay tune to the next event in late July or early August 2011, which will be a Job Fair and Health Fair combination in the Austin area given by New Beginning "A Day of Giving NFP.
The survey forms ware filled out by the vendors and will be downloaded later on the blog, and they spoke highly of the event, so did the volunteers and applicants.
It was a blessing and enjoyable day. Thanks to Casa Central for their space and all the can foods donated by the vendors, volunteers and applicants were donated to Casa Centeral because they are a distribution center for many oganizations, which was approved by the Chicago's Food Depository and New Beginning "A Day of Giving' NFP was happy to comply. New Beginning "A Day of Giving" NFP thanks the 26th Ward Alderman for his endorsement.
