New Beginning A Day of Giving, NFP

Hello and Happy, Healthy New Year, 2013!!!

Just an update since last time there was a posting. New Beginning didn't do as much in 2012 as it did in 2011 and that was due to donating to different charities, volunteering/visiting places, and family.

In 2011, there were many job fairs and health fairs held to get people back to work and to get people healthy and stay healthy. It was a remarkable year, and I truly enjoyed helping so many people while helping myself.

I do believe that 2013 is going to take leaps and bounds and be one of the biggest years for the non-for-profit, New Beginning A Day of Giving.

Bentrel, age 6, and I just signed on to do Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly because the elderly is my passion and to train Bentrel up to have respect for them as his mother and uncle did as children.

I know there will be volunteering, visiting, donating to charities, and do whatever God calls me to do.

I want my book to sell much volumes since it was pick up by a traditional publisher to be able to help these causes and many more. With money, we can help and bless many people to make it when they think there is no tomorrow. It makes me happy to put a smile on people faces by letting them know that I really care about what happens to them especially elderly, kids, women, and men.

SENIORS' HEALTH FAIR DAY ON OCT. 12, 2012

Hi Folks,

This was a great day because New Beginning A Day of Givinging, NFP voluteered with others in the 26th Ward Alderman's passion. The passion is the seniors, and I do share in it as well.

It turned out to be a great day for the seniors with health screenings, food, gifts, and conversations.
This day was really a day that the doctor would have ordered because the seniors enjoyed and were please with everything.

This was the NFP second year and will plan on coming out next year because along with me and other voluteers, we know the seniors love to have fun.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

New Beginning "A Day of Giving" NFP

Hi and Happy New Year!!

Up to now, I have done some volunteer work and will do some fundraising for organizations like St. Jude, March of Dimes, and Greater Chicago Food Depository, etc.

The organization will do a few more Health Fairs in 2012, and we see what else God has planned. We will follow through and give Him the Glory.

Christine is blessed and I want to a blessing others.

Later in the year, I wil start speaking in different organizations, which will include churches & shelters, etc.

"A DAY OF GIVING" FOR CHRISTMAS 2011

NEW BEGINNING A DAY OF GIVING, NFP WAS ABLE TO DONATE SHIRTS, VESTS, PANTS, SOCKS, HATS, SOAPS, AND FACE TOWELS TO A MEN'S HOMELESS SHELTER IN HUMBOLDT PARK'S COMMUNITY.

THE NFP THANKS THE COMMUNITY FOR ALL THE DONATIONS THAT WERE ASKED OF THEM AND GOD BLESS.

THE NFP WAS ABLE TO DONATE TO A WOMEN AND FAMILY SHELTER LAST CHRISTMAS, 2010, AND FELT IT WAS TIME TO DO SO FOR THE MEN'S SHELTER THIS YEAR.

YOU KNOW WHAT, GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIMES AND THE NFP IS GRATEFUL FOR THE COMMUNITY SUPPORT.

"A DAY OF GIVING" HEALTH FAIR

A Day of Giving is having the last health fair on November 15, 2011. This is the fourth and last one for this year, 2011. A Day of Giving" gave the last job fair after three on September 13, 2011. Out of the three job fairs, many people did get hired, whichwas a blessing. I give the Glory to God because they were done free to help others get a job and check their health.

There will be a "A Day of Giving" drive to help the homeless for Christmas and I will post the info on fb, twitter, and linked in, etc.

"A Day of Giving" in the community

The 18th Annual Seniors' Health Fair was a big hit on October 7, 2011. Why? because many seniors came out and were screened, won prizes, and ate good food. They were laughing, talking, and just having plain fun with each other.

I were certainly happy to be a part of this outreach to the community.

Thanks to the 26th Ward Alderman, Roberto Maldonado, for a good time and your participation.
